Writer’s block is something that most every writer has experienced at some point.
It is natural. Your brain seems to stall out and you really have no idea what you are going to write about. You may have a general idea but it is the details that are killing you and your drive to complete the article, book, or blog.

No matter if your are writing a paper, article or blog they creative process remains the same. Your blog may stall because you simply have no idea what you should blog about next.

If you are trying to blog for money then you can definitely run into some problems.

What types of topics are interesting enough to engage readers and encourage them to mark your page and visit it often to read new blog posts?

Absolutely, which is why you should decide what you want to write about before starting. Let’s say you are interested in promoting a book that you have written. You can generate interest in the material in your book by creating snippets that you can post to your blog which reflect the contents within. They read the snippets and then are curious about how the story turns out and they buy your book. Let the positive cash flow begin!

Money in your pocket just from blogging, and you cannot forget that if they like the book they will recommend your blog to other people.
A sample of ideas from which to build your blogs include but are not limited to.

  • Twitter, Facebook or other social networking platforms
  • A topic of interest that you would like to grow your knowledge within
  • Creationism verse atheism with your own special slant

What you choose to write about is completely up to you but there are some things to keep in mind.

You want your blog to be informal and easy to relate to. Even so, being to informal can actually work against your goals.

Adding your personal touch while delivering informative content to your readers is key. Unless you are promoting cook books, diet materials or other food related information it is probably not a good idea to write about what you ate for breakfast on your blog.

A great way to build readers is too often build up a reputation of being an expert or at least have great knowledge in a field. That is what blogging is meant for.

Posting facts that are not facts can lead to problems while secrets, tips and hints are always welcome among the majority of your readers. It is important that people begin to trust that you actually know what you are writing about because it will lead to greater revenue potential for you and your blog.

Time and effort are required for a blog to be successful. Building links from other Websites is certainly one way of increasing the amount of traffic flow from those sources as well as from the search engines. Devoting that amount of time to building blogs on a daily basis is something that many people have trouble scheduling within their lives.
